Having had a long interest in male sexual medicine, he began practicing at the Canadian Men's Clinic in Toronto in the summer of 2002, seeing men with concerns regarding erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, low sex drive and andropause. When Dr. Aquino wasn't seeing patients at the Canadian Men's Clinic, he would see patients at various Toronto area clinics, and also began providing evening housecalls to patients who couldn't get out to a doctor.

While practicing at the Canadian Men's Clinic, Dr. Aquino witnessed the introduction of new medications to treat male sexual dysfunction, primarily erectile dysfunction, and was at the forefront of treating numerous Canadian men with these and other medicines.

Dr. Aquino was a member of the Duke Primary Care Research Consortium until 2002. After beginning practice at the Canadian Men's Clinic, he was a principal investigator in a Phase 4 medication study evaluating the satisfaction of men and their partner's with treatment with the medication tadalafil, for erectile dysfunction.

Also while at Canadian Men's Clinic, he participated in a study evaluating effectiveness of various doses of the medication sildenafil, for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

In 2004, Dr. Aquino, working out of the Canadian Men's Clinic in Toronto, was a Principal Investigator in a worldwide Phase 3 pharmaceutical study evaluating the withdrawl effects of a novel medication proposed to treat premature ejaculation.

In a subsequent study in 2005, again working out of the facilities at the Canadian Men's Clinic, Dr. Aquino was Principal Investigator in a study evaluating the efficacy and safety of this same medication for the treatment of premature ejaculation. This medicine was proposed to be the first specifically indicated to treat premature ejaculation, but has yet to see approval in North America.

During his years at the Canadian Men's Clinic, Dr. Aquino was a Medical Expert to the Province of Ontario's health website www.healthyontario.com.

While practicing at Canadian Men's Clinic, Dr. Aquino was interviewed on the CTV National News regarding his opinion about newly reported possible adverse effects of a medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

He was also interviewed by Toronto 1 Television at the Canadian Men's Clinic, regarding couples' attitudes towards their sexuality as they age.

In 2005, due to his commitment to lifelong learning, the College of Family Practice conferred upon Dr. Aquino the status of Fellow of the College (FCFP).

In 2006, Dr. Aquino left the Canadian Men's Clinic to pursue his own vision of practice. In 2007 he began practice at Ontario Men's Health in Toronto (www.ontariomenshealth.ca), returning to his primary interest of treating men with sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction , premature ejaculation, low sex drive, and andropause.

Dr. Aquino has developed novel treatment plans and perspectives, and his patients at Ontario Men's Health (www.ontariomenshealth.ca) now benefit from his unique blend of medicine and humanity.

I know that sex is supposed to be one of the most enjoyable parts of life, but I always found it stressful. Usually I would ejaculate just as my wife and I were getting started. After awhile I wasn't even getting good erections. My wife always smiled and did her best to make me feel that it didn't matter, but I could sense disappointment. I tried to achieve more at work to make up the difference. I finally got up the nerve to see a doctor after reading something in a magazine. I had it all wrong. With some simple treatment and practice, things have improved dramatically for my wife and I. Now we are both smiling.

My wife and I were getting along OK, but we had slipped into a routine of avoiding sex because it was awkward for both of us when I couldn't perform. We just put it down to age and moved on. One day I just decided to look into it further, and let me tell you, don't let anyone tell you that you need to give up sex just because of your age. Our life is much more complete now than it has been in years. Get help today. My wife and I are so glad we did.
